Structural Principle and Operating Procedures of Aluminum Profile Extruder
1、 Aluminum profile extrusion machine host
It can be divided into the following parts:
1. Transmission and extrusion system:
The variable frequency speed control motor is controlled by the main frequency converter. According to the gearbox distribution box and cross splines, it is gradually transmitted to the screw. The program and its variable values entered in the frequency converter have been set at the factory of the equipment and cannot be changed arbitrarily.

2. Heating and cooling system:
It consists of barrel heating and cooling, tube heating and wire core heating and cooling, controlled by an electric chamber program, and can also be manually cooled based on one's own experience. It also has a manual forced cooling function to control instantaneous temperature rise.
3. Automatic feeding system:
Controlled by signals transmitted by time controllers or level meters. When there is a shortage of materials, the level gauge sends a signal and the system starts feeding. After the feeding is full, the level gauge signal is interrupted and the feeding is terminated.
4. Feeding system:
Controlled by a frequency converter, with less feed, the host current and torque are reduced. On the contrary, it will increase. When the load is too high, the specific current exceeds the rated voltage or the rotation distance exceeds the preset value, the machine is usually controlled at 50% to 80% of the rated value.
5. Vacuum exhaust system:
Use a button to directly control the vacuum pump, with the solenoid valve open and the solenoid valve closed.
2、 Operating procedures for aluminum profile extrusion machine:
1. Check whether the oil pressure system is leaking oil and whether the gas pressure is normal.
2. Inspect the conveyor belt, cooling bed, and storage table for any damage or scratches on the profiles.
3. Determine the length of the aluminum profile, then determine the stretching rate, and determine the stretching length, i.e. the movement position of the main clamp. Generally, the stretching rate is 0.5% -1% for 6063T5 and 0.8% -1.5% for 6061T6.
4. Determine the clamping method based on the shape of the aluminum profile. Large cross-section hollow profiles can be inserted into tensile pads, but the clamping area should be ensured as much as possible.
5. When the aluminum profile is cooled to below 50 ℃, the profile can be stretched.
When there are both bending and twisting in the profile, the twisting should be corrected first and then the bending should be pulled.
7. Conduct trial pulling on the first and second wires to determine whether the predetermined stretching rate and clamping method are suitable. Look at the bending, twisting, and checking the plane clearance, expansion, and parallel opening of the profile. If it is not suitable, adjust the stretching rate appropriately.
8. If the normal stretching rate still cannot remove bending, twisting, or the geometric dimensions cannot meet the standard, the operator should be notified to terminate the extrusion.
9. The profiles on the refrigeration table should not rub, collide, overlap, or accumulate with each other to avoid scratches.
The working efficiency and service life of aluminum profile extrusion machines are closely related to the installation sequence of the extrusion machine. Generally, the equipment foundation of aluminum profile extrusion machines should not only be able to bear the net weight of the equipment itself and the net weight of production raw materials, but also bear the dynamic load efficiency during the operation of the extrusion machine. Therefore, the installation of equipment must be carried out according to the corresponding procedures.

After the installation of the extrusion machine, the process technicians should carefully read the equipment manual and formulate the trial production plastic product process, trial operation process, material plan, trial tools and trial time according to the regulations in the manual. Master and understand the equipment structure and the functional functions of various parts, and memorize the functional usage of each button and switch.
